At the stroke of mid-day hour, Delhi came to life. The stage was set for the launch of something incredible, something that was not only designed in India but also was made here. Yu announced their second device the Yuphoria and boy were we excited! Yuphoria is a budget device with an extravagant spec and a premium build quality. Along with Yuphoria, a YU Fit Band was also launched which will work with a health tracking service powered by HealtifyMe. The YU Yuphoria is priced at Rs 6,999 and is aimed at the budget segment. Coming in two colors, Buffed Steel with black cover and Champagne Gold with white cover, the YU Yuphoria will go on sale on May 28 and the registrations for the same have started at 5PM on 12^th May.

Yuphoria comes with a 5-inch HD display with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, according to YU the display is fully laminated and it gives better legibility in sunlight. The metallic frame that surrounded the device gives a good grip, which is helped in part by the matte finish on the rear cover. On the inside it packs up a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC coupled with Adreno 306 GPU.It has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. You can expand the storage using the micro SD card slot accessible on removing the battery cover. For shutterbugs there’s an 8MP rear and a 5MP front camera. The 8MP camera comes with an f/2.2 aperture and has a 1.4 micrometer pixel size. Yuphoria camera also supports slo-mo (120fps). The 5MP front camera has an f/2.0 aperture and a wide angle lens for selfie enthusiasts. It comes pre-loaded with Cyanogen 12 atop which runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The goodness doesn’t end here, Yuphoria has a 2230 mAh battery which supports QuickCharge 1.0.
